So, about a month ago my iTunes store advertised the DC universe 25 movie collection, collecting all their animated films into a digital bundle, and were selling the entire collection for $90 bucks. That's right, a $300 value for only $90 dollars.
Needless to say I jumped at the chance to download the films. But Apple is run by a bunch of twats, and they declined me because I wasn't in the correct "region." Since I live in Japan, I wasn't allowed access to the film collection, even though my credit card was good. So, I watched with great sadness as the deal expired. Then, on September 26th Batman day rolled around and my Vudu stream announce, you guessed it, the DC universe 25 movie collection for only $90 bucks! Since I download all the digital copies I have from my Bluray DVDs using Vudu, I knew it would work. So I bought the collection and low and behold! I am now the proud owner of some of the greatest superhero animation ever to be made! I've been watching two a night with my daughter. The stand alone Wonder Woman film is my personal favorite. I still think The Flashpoint Paradox and Justice League WAR are my favorites of the team films. I also thought Superman All Stars was really great and the collection of short films on the Shazam and Superman vs. Black Adam film were most excellent. Batman Year One was much darker and grittier than I thought it would be. Anyway, this is a great collection for anyone who is a DC superheros fanboy like I am.
